We’ve found so much joy in camping and traversing down the beaten path over the past several years. With the onslaught of Covid-19, we didn’t know or understand how a pandemic would impact our travels. It took awhile to get back out into the wild again. I was hesitant to visit smaller communities where resources were already scarce and potentially threaten those suffering from this new illness. Eventually, I began venturing to the outdoors again, this time more prepared with gear and mindful of routes that were less treacherous to travel. I met with my friend Michael, and his newly acquired Lexus GX470. Our plan was simple; a night of camping and a day on the trail. After letting some air out of our tires, we began our trek high into the San Bernadino mountains. Along the trail we stopped for photos and tackled some small obstacles in our trucks. We ended the trip at local burger joint before parting ways.
