NICKEL AND A DIME

Whenever I’m in downtown San Diego, I always try and stop by 5&aDime for some great urban threads. I recommend this shop to all my friends because of the great customer service and overall atmosphere.

It’s not unusual to see some type of event going down here with food and free drinks. One time I came down here for Cinco de Mayo, and a street taco stand was setup in front of the store. When I came here for the Targa Trophy event, there was a fleet of Lamborghini’s and high-end Benz’s lined all the way down 8th street. There’s really never a dull moment here.

There’s always a wide selection of clothing to browse through, but I can never get enough of the 5D home brand goodness. On this particular day, I came by to pick up a limited #ROBBED T-shirt commemorating Manny Pacquio’s controversial loss against Timothy Bradley.

5D appeals to me because of their affliction to automotive enthusiasts, fixed gear cyclists, as well as the hip-hop scene. If some of those things catch your interest, make sure you stop by. Even if they don’t, make sure you checkout the buffalo head hanging on the wall.
