UP IN FLAMES
Founded in 1868, National City is the second oldest city in San Diego. The history of the city can be seen through the Victorian-style houses, which still line the main boulevards. Just recently, one of these historic buildings caught on fire and nearly burned to the ground.
The building was said to be constructed in the late 1890′s, making it more than 100 years old. Unfortunately, the tenants did not have any type of insurance, and lost everything in fire. I drove by the burned structure today and happened to have my camera with me.
