HI LIFE: OAHU

HI LIFE: OAHU

As I begin to adjust myself back to a daily routine, I can’t help but reflect upon the crazy adventure I experienced across the Pacific. This was my first time visiting Hawaii and I had no idea what to expect during my stay. There was no denying that the land would be scenic, but there aren’t enough words to describe how beautiful Hawaii is until you see it for yourself. It really doesn’t hit you until that one peek out of the airplane window presents you with the clear waters and white sand beaches that surround the island.

The first part of my trip was spent on the island of Oahu. My girlfriend and I stayed in Waikiki, however we did our best to tour the different regions of the island.

On the second day of our trip, we rented a car to visit the North Shore and everything in between. Our first stop of the trip was Paradise Cove, where we were hoping to spot some of the giant sea turtles that hang out in the bay. We were surprised to find that we were the only ones there and had the beach to ourselves for a couple hours.

Back in Waikiki, I began to notice the enormous Banyan Tree’s that lined the boulevard and figured that their grungy appeal was worth documenting.

And lastly, what Hawaii trip wouldn’t be complete without a Luau?
