CHICAGO

CHICAGO

This past April, Iris and I had the opportunity to travel to The Windy City to witness its urban glory. This would be our first time visiting Chicago and we kept our plans loose considering the unfamiliar territory. Equipped with a rail-pass and a pair of good walking shoes, we would ride the various train lines and let the city unveil itself to us. Our stay here lasted less than three days, but we kept the camera close to document our adventures. Some highlights of our stay included the architectural boat tour, a Saved By The Bell pop-up restaurant, and chance to try some legitimate Chicago deep-dish pizza with close college friends. Our apartment rental gave us a good glimpse of what life in the city would be like with amenities such as wall mounted bicycles and an elevated view of the city skyline. I was impressed with attractions like the free city zoo and the master planning of Millennium Park. Chicago is often referred to as a city that reflects architectural excellence and its easy to see why. We hope to visit this magnificent metropolitan hub again.
