THE LIBRARY PROJECT: STACKED STORIES

With the beginning of school just around the corner, there has been a tremendous push to complete the library project. Since the art exhibition a couple weeks ago, several more students have jumped on board to help make this project the best it could be. We have also moved the project to the other side of the building, where an assembly line of different jobs are carefully orchestrated to bring the library to life.

With all the material consolidated into one area, the fabrication team is now able to see how much more work needs to be done.

The guys over at mi-workshop played a huge role in helping us cut all the wood needed to assemble the larger sites. A big thanks to them for their time and hard work.

And finally, it was time to say farewell to our prototype model. Built nearly six months ago, this model gave our client a better understanding of our design at full scale. There has been such a transformation in the project since then, and we are very close to seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
