CHICANO PARK CELEBRATION

On any given weekend, the local streets in Barrio Logan are usually empty and available for students to park close to campus. Today however, the entire block was filled with cars, and parking was very difficult to find. I had a haunch that something was occurring nearby at Chicano Park, so I drove over to see what was going on. I was surprised to see hundreds of people and low riders gathered in the main plaza, so I took a small break from school work and attended the event.
